Manage product development for novel robotic pipe refurbishment technology, coordinating CAD design, supplier relationships, research partnerships, and patent filing processes.
Developed and implemented a soft robotic system with a novel tip-based fluidization mechanism, integrating mechanical design, 3D printing, and embedded systems. Conducted testing and data analysis to validate performance, advancing motion techniques in vine robotics.
Led product development projects, utilizing CAD software (Inventor, SolidWorks) for design and 3D printing, milling, and turning for prototyping. Developed novel mechanisms and optimized parts through iterative testing, reducing costs, and improving product quality.
Led a team to optimize production processes by applying lean engineering techniques. Designing and implementing innovative machinery that reduced assembly time and significantly cut production costs, resulting in improved working conditions, efficiency, and throughput.
Developed a product concept for steering inspection cameras. This was done using morphological analysis with design and rapid prototyping, resulting in a novel steering concept for inspection cameras.
Worked in the R&D department to find solutions to unique problems in production machines. Designed and tested an aspiration adapter in a laser welding machine.
CAD-Designed (Siemens NX), mounted, and tested various fixtures. Responsible for the BLDC controller setup.
Worked to create documents for the approval process of ropeway systems.
Designed, built, and tested a pneumatic sorting machine. The machine was designed on a drawing board and built using milling and turning machines as well as Festo pneumatics, resulting in a novel and compact machine.
Helped in electrical cabinet construction, cable routing, and soldering. This allowed for the development of foundational skills in electronics (cabinet construction, cable routing, and soldering).
